Julia was born and raised in central Florida. She grew up watching launches from the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) from her front yard, and going to the beach every chance she got.
With high school came Julia’s love for words and putting her thoughts on paper. College helped her nurture and polish her writing skills.
Julia began her career at NASA/KSC in 1989 as an intern. Most of her career was spent in Human Resources, where she often wrote articles for the Personnel Notes & Happenings newsletter. Julia retired from NASA in 2021 as an HR data and automated systems project manager.
In 2023, Julia felt a gentle but clear nudge to write for her Heavenly Father and His glory. Inspiration and determination quickly followed, and so did the words. After all, purpose can’t be contained.
Faith and having fun with family and friends matter most to Julia. She is a foodie who loves music, dogs, traveling, cooking, and her fast, rumbly car. Julia and her husband, Bryan, have been married for thirty-four years and still call Florida’s Space Coast their home. When the right time comes, they will move further north to live closer to their daughter and put down roots in an area that experiences real seasons.
